TVS Apache RR 310S, TVS First 300CC bike launched date revealed ready for launch till August 2017
The upcoming TVS Apache RR 310S will be launched sometime in August or even September 2017. TVS Motor Company’s Head of Motorcycle Business, Mr. Arun Siddharth has confirmed that the new Apache bike will be launched in the middle of this financial year.
The Apache RR 310S is based on the TVS Akula 310 Concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. and this is TVS first 300cc bike. The motorcycle shares the engine and platform with the BMW G310R. Both the motorcycles are a result of the joint venture signed by TVS and BMW Motorrad in April 2013.
As per the Vice President, Marketing, Motorcycles, TVS Motor Company, Mr. Arun Siddharth” BMW Motorrad also has a bike on the same platform, we will be showing our bike soon, despite being on the same platform they will cater to different customers and the intent will be very different. As far as the partnership with BMW is concerned the idea is to bring the synergies on the hardware together though the brand positioning will be very different.
The latest flagship TVS bike Apache RR 310S will be highly powerful in this segment. The latest Apache RR 310S is expected to get a lot of hi-end features and equipment, the Apache RR 310S will be compact frame, split seats, clip-on handlebars, high-performance tyres, petal discs, standard dual-channel ABS and more. The Company claim this motorcycle will be flagship in segment and also will be positioned as the most-affordable entry-level sport bike in the motorcycle market.
